We are a local family firm which has been established for over 40 years and have 29 years hands on experience.

I took over the business from my uncle about 20 years ago and changed the company name from ‘South Wirral Heating’ to include my name ‘David Jones Heating’ and as the company has grown the company went through another name change to ‘Oil Gas Safe UK’ this was necessary to let people understand that it might not be David Jones that would turn up as that was what they was expecting.

We cover a radius of approximately 60 miles and cater for all sizes of work including servicing repairs replacements and new installations of both Oil, Gas & LPG. We are Gas Safe and OFTEC registered. We service and repair any make of boiler whether it be gas or oil, domestic or commercial. On replacement or new installations we only fit Worcester Bosch. This is because their quality reflects on the standard of our workmanship and as we are Worcester Bosch Accredited this will add to your peace of mind of the right boiler for the right job. know that it is installed correctly and the added benefit of extended warranties.

We offer a same day service on breakdowns (depending on the time of call) and guaranteed next day service if this can’t be met.

Our work team consists of:
Nickie my wife who is most customer’s first point of contact with our company, she arranges most of the bookings and liaises between the customers and the engineers for the jobs that need specific time or special arrangements.

Dave who is the MD and has 28 years of hands on experience.

Heath has been with us for nearly 6 years now and is a valued member of our team.

Rhys has been with us for nearly 2 year’s now and has just completed his first year in college on his NVQ apprenticeship. He is enthusiastic and hardworking, we have had plenty of comments of how polite he is.

Jimmy who also has been with us for nearly 2 year’s now and has just completed his first year in college on his NVQ apprenticeship. He has shown himself to be keen and is picking the trade up quickly and we are very proud of both of them.
